Yes. Even after Peppol has been activated, you choose for each document how you send it: By email (with PDF attachment), Via Peppol or By mail. So nothing changes about your ability to send PDFs; you simply pick the method in the send window.
⚠️ Please note: for invoices to Belgian VAT-registered companies, a structured e-invoice via Peppol has been legally required since 1 January 2026; a PDF can only serve as an extra copy there. PDF invoices remain fully valid for individuals and most foreign customers.
If your customer has no Peppol registration, you cannot send via Peppol and you choose email or post yourself. See also: What if my customer does not have Peppol?
Would you like your customer to receive an email with the invoice in addition to the Peppol invoice? Then tick the option Send additional email together with Peppol sending in the Peppol send window. Your customer will then simultaneously receive an optional email with the invoice and the attachments.
You choose this checkbox per delivery, at the moment you send the invoice via Peppol.
💡 Tip: by default, the recipient also receives a PDF preview of the invoice via Peppol. With the option Include attachments in Peppol UBL file you can additionally send your other attachments (PDF, PNG, JPEG, CSV, XLSX and ODS) directly inside the Peppol file.
